NORTHERN CIRCUIT

This safari circuit covers the most popular attractions in Tanzania.
Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit is most frequented by tourists as most of the attractions are fairly close to each other and includes many of Tanzania's most famous sights. We can mention Ngorongoro Crater/Ngorongoro Conservation Area (about 3 hours drive from Arusha), the Serengeti National Park (about 6-hour drive from Arusha) and Mount Kilimanjaro,

Kilimanjaro National Park (about 2-hour drive from Arusha) that are all a part of this safari circuit.

Due to the fact that all the parks, towns and attractions are within easy reach of one another, you can easily go on a safari trip and discover the entire safari circuit by vehicle with only a couple of hours between the destinations.

Lake Manyara National Park ( 2 hours from Arusha )  and Tarangire National Park (  three hours away ) are often incorporated as part of a longer safari. The most visited part of the northern circuit is the Ngorongoro Crater, where wildlife grazes and hunts in one of the largest volcanic craters in the world.

The wildebeest migration is a natural occurrence and therefore it is impossible to know for sure where the migrating herds will be so it is often a good idea to either choose a mobile camp or stay at more than one camp in the Serengeti or Ngorongoro

Packages can be arranged using scheduled air services or as road safaris using 4x4 vehicles.
